: Just finished my last skim coat of epoxy on the hull and deck. Wondered how
: long I should wait to allow the epoxy to fully cure before final sanding
: and varnishing. Is a week long enough?
: I am using System 3 Silvertip Epoxy and finish coating is System 3 Marine
: coatings WR-LPU polyurethane clear gloss topcoat.

Generally at least a week. I too havn't used that brand epoxy, but most epoxy will be curing for up to a month, though 75-80% of the cure is done in the first week.
