i have the heritage redfish 14 with the raised sponsons.
So far it's been a great sit on top but is still sluggish handling
and not so fast,,but does better than any other sit on top i've tried.
I think it is actually 22" wide at the waterline..but of course as water gets choppy the sponsons get immersed making the beam wider and the boat slower.

Anyway i suppose this does same as flare though exagerated.
