Hmmm. I wonder what route RNP is on. If he encounters any grizzly bears he better have another look at his map. And if it turns out he's where he's supposed to be and it is in fact a grizzly, he better call the local wildlife people because I'm sure they would be interested. He's way too far east for grizzlies, ever since the plains grizzly was eliminated along with the great herds of bison. If he was much farther north, there would be a chance of a tundra grizzly wandering down. Chances are good though that he'll see black bears along the way.

Robert's within 90 miles or so of me right now and it's a great paddling day, maybe a light headwind as he heads through Prince Albert, Saskatchewan and beyond.
