Thanks guys. I think I will tackle the B&C. I like the idea of cove-up for easy gluing, using dowls to protect the top cove. It will also help me as a beginner to keep a solid hull, without worrying about waving lengthwise.
This is a bit off topic, but what is the ideal TPI for a pull-stroke when getting fancy? I would imagine you want a few coarses handy yea? Is it worth going somewhere like Garret Wade, or will a Lowe's deal get it done?
