While I was cutting my gunwales I inadvertently trimmed one a bit narrow they were supposed to be 3/4 inch and at on end they taper down to just over 1/2 inch. Is this difference going to cause me grief or should I be ok? I'm not a big guy and I don't plan on using it in rough water situations - at least I don't plan on using it in rough water.
