I just noticed this thread. Where will Rob be paddling on the rest of his trip?

: Had a call from Rob last night. He was at Cumberland House, Saskatchewan. I
: wasn't home so he left a message. He said travel on the river has been
: boring for the most part with only a few bits of whitewater action. He has
: taken lots of wildlife and bird pics with his new Canon Xti. He's had one
: minor/harmless encounter with a bear (which means Rob couldn't catch him
: to try out his fancy new bear bangers, or his big knife he's been bragging
: about for the last 5 years). Said he's been having a great time, has met
: lots of great people and has lots of stories to tell.

: I'm going to hook up with him on June 11th and we'll paddle Hecla/Black
: Island on Lake Winnipeg, the 12th, 13th, 14th. Rob seemed pretty excited
: about how much he was enjoying the photography aspect on this leg of the
