Hi Randy,
I understand that Robert's goal was the North end of Lake Winnipeg. Grand Rapids where Ken was meeting him is the north end of Lake Winnipeg where the Saskatchewan River ends at the outflow of Cedar Lake. In another post though Robert said that this year was to be the end of the freshwater leg of his cross Canada trip so I'm not exactly sure what he has in mind. Although Manitoba is a maritime province, Lake Winnipeg is a long way from the Atlantic Ocean at Hudson Bay. The rest of the trip across Canada is to come in future years.
