Hi Tracey,

Yes, at Rend Lake. There were two PDR's there that I know of. Dave Grays was carrying 60 sq ft of sail. The weather was terrible in that big rollers and white caps were coming in from the southwest and the wind was fickle and from all directions. I broke the gooseneck on my main sail and that pretty much stopped my sailing. I used my homemade jib to beat against the wind and waves back to my car, packed up and drove back to IN. Terrible flooding had taken place in IL and IN and Interstate 70 was flooded in places with detours that cost me an extra 4 hours of driving. I was told that was the worst the lake had ever been for a mess-a-bout meet.
