Hi Brian. I think we may have corresponded before. Where are you based?

They claim to be the biggest importers of cedar in the country. They operate out of Tralee.

I imported planks from Canada through the USA with the help of a friend. (WRC) I still have loads, But it was expensive and complicated and I was hammered for import duty as well. I wouldn't bother doing it again.

If I had to go abroad for cedar again I would get it pre-milled and save money on weight and bulk.

Unfortunately our small numbers here in Ireland mean that specialist stuff is always hard to come by. We all make do with a bit of extra lateral thinking and, often, some added expense, as well as putting up with the inevitable bit of compromise, especially in regard to accessing unusual woods.
