Isn't it nice to know that at your age you still have and enquiring mind?

You are probably right though. I was just never sure and I put in to many hours to take chances.

I would say that it is probably the varnish having a bad reaction to the uncured epoxy I am more concerned about, rather than the epoxy not curing.

This is one of those areas where someone with a really enquiring mind would do a test and post the results here for the rest of us more lazy people.
