Sorry Charlie for misconstruing your words. You were thinking of foam against luan while I was picturing it as in my boats that are covered on the inside with glass & epoxy. I tried to download the D4 plans to check out the construction but I sometimes have trouble with PDF files, with the question what program opens these files? Just one of those problems with computers I have never figured out.
