No solvents should be used when cleaning your skin, so vinegar and denatured alcohol should be avoided. Use a good quality waterless hand cleaner instead.

Solvents just make it easier for the bad stuff to penetrate your skin, you are may actually be better off just wiping off drips with a rag and letting it dry if you don't have hand cleaner.

Tools are another matter, vinegar is a good choice. Of course you should wear gloves while doing the cleaning.
