Hi everyone,
I'm back from a trip to Boulter Plywood and the Home Depot. In addition to some tools and clamps, I've brought back six 16"x8' 4mm Okoume 1088 planks. Is there a certain side which should be the outside of the boat? My eyes are very untrained so it's hard for me to always say which side looks better. One side has two stamps in the corners - does this mean the other face is superior? When such stamps wouldn't show, would it be OK to use that side as the outside? Any tips appreciated. I don't want to mess this up before even getting started!
