The last few strippers I made, I use 4 oz for everything. I use a 2nd football shape on the bottom and a 2nd layer on the floor of the cockpit and an extra strip on the ends. Other than that, 1 layer of 4 oz everywhere. I use 6 oz 2" tape for the inside seam and strips of 4 oz cloth for the outside seam.
