: What you can do without changing Nick's lines at all is to chamfer the edges
: of the forms (where necessary) to conform to the slope of a strip at each
: form. Using a plane and/or spokeshave this won't take as long as you might
: expect. It will let the strips fit tightly against the forms as you near
: the ends of the kayak. Putting it another way, the sides of the forms
: closest to amidships will conform to the designer's lines.
