: I've been told that vinegar works for skin and rubbing alcohol for tools. My
: instructions from CLC say acetone for tools. Do both work, is one better
: than the other?
: Also someone told me that rubbing down arms and skin with an old nylon
: stocking help avoid glass splinter irritation after working with the glass
: cloth.
: Just checking--I finally unpacked my box of parts last night and hope to
: start glassing the panels ASAP.
: thanks for the help.
#1 rule for working with epoxy, never get it on your skin and never breath it's odors, ever.
Everyone's tolerance is different but eventually everyone, if care isn't used, will get an alergic reaction to epoxy. If the reaction is bad enough you won't be able to be in the same room with even cured epoxy. So safety is required. It's too nice a material to not use it, just have to use extra caution with it's use.
