Hi Carl,

Might do a web search for Hostel Shoppe, it's a recumbent bicycle shop, look in the brand specific parts for seats. The hung fabric seats weigh next to nothing and are pretty comfy, is on my bike anyway For bikes they are fairly pricy but would be really easy to fabricate for the boat.
