I have used Shutterfly and Ofoto (kodak) both with great success.

They are both prety good and I don't think either of them require the picture recipients to register, which isn't the case for some of the other sites.

The one thing about ofoto which might be more difficult for the non computer literate is; there is software to install which controls the upload process. It's not particularly difficult to install or use, but I guess it could be a factor. I don't think shutterfly has that requirement ( at least they didn't the last time I used it). My wife and I use Ofoto though for sharing pictures of the family. The software has good redeye removal which is pretty much why I like it best.
