: I have an older version of this saw - about 3-4 years old. It's handy to set
: up/take down and move. Not too powerful - I smoked the on/off switch once
: cutting strips. Probably overloaded the saw and the high current fused the
: switch contacts so you could not turn the saw off!!!
: New switch was about $40 shipped, so consider that when you look at
: better/pricier tools - you get what you pay for.
: The small table and fence do need to be extended/messed with to get
: repeatable strips. I've used the saw a lot and it's handy, but I do not

Thanks guys
I've got a thickness planer so the strips don't have to be perfectly cut on the table saw, use it when I use the bigger table saw anyway, makes for nice consistant thickness strips.
