Progress took a hit as life decided it was time to test me in various ways I don't really feel like talking about. But at least twice a week I've made at least some token progress and champagne time is nearly in sight.

I've decided to use nylon webbing for the deck straps rather than cutting strips of PVC. And after researching how to sew nylon webbing, I'm going to buy the material at MEC this weekend and take it to my neighbourhood shoe repair guy. I'll be shocked if it costs much more than $20.
