Got to spend a couple of hours in Wren today. I am amazed my first design behaves so well. Not much wind, but a few gusts and just no signs of weather cocking at all.

Question. Anyone ever enlarge an existing cockpit? I am not going to rush into this but I finding the OC difficult to get in and out of. I don't think cutting it out larger around the existing one should be a problem. Just have to be careful and go slow.

I know I will get better in time but I dumped the boat twice getting in. That at the bank! Rather embarrassing. Also to my surprise I am finding the width a snug fit and I am not big hipped by any means. Plus I could use a couple more inches of length for my legs when entering. I am really like the deck up close. Thats my favorite part. I am just wondering if an UP-sized OC wouldn't be more comfortable.

I won't do anything any time soon, just curious if any has done this. I want to give this a fair shot first.
