I just bought an old - 60 years according to the previous (but not original) owner - wood and canvas kayak. It's sort of a Rob Roy type, about 13 feet long by 30 inches wide. I took it out on a pond today and it paddles surprisingly well. The seller said it "seeps" water and that's about right. It took on about a quart in half an hour, seemingly along the keel line. I'm hoping the link to the pictures will work. Does anyone recognize the design as anything standard? How would you approach trying to seal it up better? I only paid $25 so not much of an investment yet! Thanks in advance.
