Bill - once I had my 1/2" bulkheads cut out, I realized they weigh very little, so decided not to bother with lightening holes. I'm also trying to get something finished - I'm still not 100% sure this thing will work well so will leave the advanced weight-trimming for a second generation vessel. How will you attach the stringers to the 1/4" ply - glued lashings? Will you use gussets? Carl
