You say that you use a squeegee to apply the epoxy. My question was "do you use a squeegee to remove the excess epoxy?"

You also say that you check back on your work a few hours later and it is then too late to remedy the situation. You should be checking your work every 15 to 20 minutes for the first few hours so you can react to problems before it is too late.

If you look at the 3 photos I have posted on my MSN photosite you will see what the fiberglass and epoxy look like after the saturation coat, first fill coat and second (final) fill coat.
