I use a squeegy to apply resin and layout
: the cloth at moderate diagonal across the 50" width of cloth. My
: cloth is on a role so don't have problems with creases. I generally use a
: brush to smooth the cloth prior to resin application. I try to follow all
: the procedures as written in Nick's book.
Regardless of what brand of epoxy you're using, I'd also recommend looking at the instructions in the back issue of West's Epoxyworks magazine. If you're using West, definitely call their technical assistance line, they're very helpful. I called them, and they suggested I use the procedure in the article rather than Nick's. It gave me excellent results.
