What exactly about the sea bee didn't you like? I have been drooling while waiting for the offsets. I thought it looked like it would be a good river boat, and light enough to not kill me on the portage at my favorite hole (1/2 mile hike up 200' in elevation at the take out is rough with the tupperware). The only fault I saw was the 5" waterline, a bit deep for a shallow river.
