: Hi Bill-

Hi Mike,

I think with my catamaran prototype I'm again going to try my composite skin that I first tried on my Tom Yost Sea Ranger. This time I'm going a little lighter on the fabric. Going to use 1.8 oz. dacron and cover again with a single ply of 4 oz. glass/epoxy. The Sea Ranger's worked well and the cover is nearly as rugged conventional fiberglass construction only a heck of alot lighter.

I'm still working on perfecting that skin, this time I think I'll vacuum bag the glass over the dacron, hopefully will smooth out the finish as well as bonding it easier to the underlying fabric.
