I'm ready to glass the deck on my storm LT, I have already epoxied the raw timber, washed & sanded it in preparation for the 4oz glass, I feel more comfortable doing it this way.
Now to my question, is it better to completely finish glassing the deck (including filler coats & finish sanding) before cutting out for the cockpit or leave the filler coats until after the I've made the cockpit or even until after the two halves are bonded together.
Any tips appreciated as I'm trying to plan ahead for the run to somewhere near the finish line with hopefully no surprises (184 hrs so far including building the strongback, saw horses & cutting/milling the cedar)
