Thanks for the feedback. I have to say that I absolutely cringe at the idea of chemically removing all the partially set crap.
TAP uses a 4:1 ratio on their marine epoxy. In fairness, the epoxy sat around for a couple of years and was subjected to temperature extremes of roughly 32 to 90 degrees F. Still, I've never had a lick of trouble with West systems. It's also entirely bogus that TAP didn't list the 77 degree spec on their cans.
: Have you checked the color and viscosity of both cans? Could they have sold
: you two resins or two hardeners with one of them mislabeled. It can happen
: when goods get repackaged into smaller containers. Especially if it is a
: one to one ratio.
