It may be a long time before I do much than think about it. But with gas prices I see more and more need to "carpool" kayaks. Small trailer, a mini van 6 people and gear no problem.

I have just been day dreaming on this. Have not put anything to paper but there are a couple of issues. One I want it enclosed so the boats are out of sight. So that means you have to have doors. Obvious answer is doors on the back of the trailer. But then you need 20' behind you of open space to unload. Side doors make more sense but there is the size issue to contend with. Keeping them open and not falling on you or the boats. Nothing that can't be overcome. But I am a long way from needing it but I am working on idea in my head. I guess I need to put them on paper or the computer.
