Hello All,
I made hatch lips ala the One Ocean method for my OI the past weekend, using six layers of 6 oz. scraps with Raka and graphite powder. After trimming the edges I noticed that maybe I may have added to much graphite powder. My question is will this affect the adhesion to the underside of the deck when I glue it on? On my Guilly I made the hatch lips blackened with copy toner with no problems after six years. Will epoxy mixed with silica make a difference?
