: A question for you all. When do you splice your strips?

: After I spliced some milled strips to length I realized I will need to scrape
: the glob of glue from the bead and cove before I start assembling them on

: When do you do it, before milling, after milling or on the forms? And if you
: do it on the forms, do you clamp the splice or just staple?

The only strips I spliced were the sheer strips before I milled them, all others were butt joined (stapled or clamped)in the middle of one of the forms, just make sure you stagger the joins so they're not all in the one place.
