Mixing for a minute is about right. But 6-8 squirts of the MAS pumps sounds like a fairly large batch,though I could be wrong about that. I like to mix with arts and crafts quality tongue depressors which are much cheaper than those you buy from West systems. Being broader than chopsticks, I would think they introduced less air into the mixture. Also, I think small batches release trapped air faster than larger batches.
