I mix my epoxy using several of the suggestions mentions. I pre heat using a heat lamp but this will kick off the epoxy faster so be careful. I use scrap wood strips left over from building as Bill does. I mix about a minute if the mixture is not a supper large batch and scrape the bottom and sides and stir rather then whip. And even though I have pumps I mix in plastic cups on a gram scale for better accuracy for big and small batches.
