Hi John,

Ok, had to go look up tyvek, it's designed for dry protection and they say is water resistant, not waterproof. I'd also suggest making several test panels and try different coatings to see what works and what doesn't. Puncture resistance I think will come from the coating, the stuff isn't real puncture resistant from what I've seen, does seem to have a fair amount of tear resistance though.
