Look forward to that photo! I made a hollow shaft and threw on some plywood blades. Simple paddle but amazingly light! Been tossing around the idea of hollow shafted GP.

BTW I love sassafras. Wonderful wood, wish I could find it around here. Your would think in the south you could but.....
