: I am taking an existing design and changing it in all sorts of ways.
: I am also widening it to 24".
: As i got down to making the forms wider that is when i realized i could do
: any of the 3 ways. In looking at an ndk explorer and seeing it appears
: widest about 6-7 " aft of the front of the coaming and knowing this
: boat is reknown for handling..it made me try to envision the center of
: gravity and bouyancy footprint".
Well just remember that when you start changing the hull, it's a brand new design and you'll need to make all the calculations the orriginal designer did to help to insure it'll perform as desired, also will float on it's lines.
