It's hard to make plans so far in advance, but now is the time to book camping reservations for next summer's wood kayak rendezvous in Port Townsend. Reservations can be made at Fort Worden State Park one year in advance and they always sell out very fast. The rendezvous will be the first weekend in August. I've already put in for mine and I suggest if you are interested that you do so as well right away. If you don't end up going you can cancel for a reasonable fee, or even better, make them available to those that did not find out in time to make a reservation.
