: spray-in foam, but since it expands in 3 dimensions, and not in just the

: may add a floor sheet of 1/8" ply on top of that in the cockpit area

Sounds interesting. If you've not done this, plan on doing the sanding outside, makes a gross mess inside when sanding foam. Oh yeah, you'll attract foam beads like a magnet, unless you've got a shower in the shop, wear coveralls of some sort that can be removed before going inside the house, otherwise you'll be chasing foam dust inside forever.
