Yo Kirk

Take your time, follow Nicks book instructions and enjoy the challenge. Remember short time building, long time paddling.

The plywood strongback (page 69) is easy to make and we are kidding ourselves if we expect to find piece of wood that would be that straight and that stable.

The boat stands (page 72) are invaluable.

Those funny litte u-shaped bits of wood (figure 6-4 page 80) are usefull even if you are using staples.

Don't spare the heatgun for the curly bits (just beware that you can scorch the wood)
