I only did 1 coat of epoxy on the inside....Sounds like that was either not enough, or I didn't get full coverage. My plan now is to sand down the top side of the deck to get it smooth again, re-apply epoxy, re-sand & varnish, and also re-coat the inside of the cockpit - it's in that area where the black is appearing.

: accompanied by mold growth. So tell us a bit more. How was the interior
: sealed (how many coats of resin and or glass)? Do you air out the
: compartments after use? Is the boat stored outside with the hatches on so
: that condensation can build up? Where on the boat are the black areas
: located.
