I used titebond II and MAS epoxy on my Redfish Silver too. My initial thought of what occurred was due to the glue/epoxy being exposed to the direct sunlight as the temp was hovering around 80 degrees today. When the issue of deflection was mentioned, it certainly struck a familiar chord as I instantly thought about the pressure applied to the strap. As I previously mentioned, the damage was limited to that one specific area of the hull no where else. I can't say if the heat had anything to do with promotion of the fiberglass whitening as shown in my photo. Just my thoughts FWIW.
