We have built the Cape Ann Double in our shop and used the Feathercraft rudder system. We did however cut off the end of the boat since it gives a more solid platform to attach the rudder and with the shape of the end of the CA, the rudder is not hanging out in the wind. If you go with the Feathercraft, you will want the end pour pin model and cabling kit. I also have instructions on how I install on my site on the "How To" page.
