Saw off the whole tip a couple inches back, glue (epoxy) on a block of complimentary hardwood (maybe cherry or walnut), after it's cured shape to match the contours of the sides and deck, coat with epoxy and maybe some thin glass.

: Not sure how this happened. I assume it happened on the Night paddle. I ran
