The gaps you see are from butting the edges of strips together. I didn't use bead and cove. These are filled by the epoxy. It's "good nuff" for me, but I'm sure others will chime in on the way it should be done.

I typically fair and sand to 80 grit and then glass the sucker. But I'm not going for furniture grade finishes. I know my boats will be used and beat up in less than a month from hitting the water.
