OK, so it's Fortune Small Business magazine, but the September 2008 issue has a very nice, albeit short, article on Joe and Redfish Kayaks. It's in a section called 'Off Hours' which also has brief overviews of a custom bowyer and a maker of bamboo fly rods. The opening double page spread shows Joe at Deception Pass with one of his boats on his shoulder and one of his paddles in his other hand.

Joe is a consummate craftsman, and it's great to see him get some wider recognition.
