: Amen to that. I'm having trouble decided on a non-kludgy way to attach the
: seat-footboard assembly, while still having it moveable. No rudder,
: although I added structure to the tails in the event it's needed (very
: likely, I think). If so, I will start with one and see if two are needed.
: Also mulling ways to carry some cargo, hold a spare paddle, etc., etc.

Well my seat is built into the boat, so on that regard I'm no help. I'd look at the setup they use on the poly sit-on-tops for seating positions though, they are fairly easily adjustable and should be something that could be built. Nick's got a SOT too, not sure though if it's got and adjustable seat or not.

Cargo is a bitch, hulls are tiny even if they had hatches and the hatches would be tiny too, might be ok for inspection but not for cargo. My hulls are 7" wide maximum, not much room in there. I'm going to have access to the insides of the pod ends (fairings) so I'll have some very small amount of storage there.

I'd think you could fairly easily have bungies on the forward hulls for paddle storage etc. while still allowing a smooth rear deck for passenger access. Won't have the room of most sea kayaks but should be enough.
