: Doh ! ...3 lbs of epoxy ? Last time you complained that the weight gain was
: due to the machine screws holding the seat :)

: BTW - The Sprint was very comfy on our ride last week. Longest day was 400
: miles with no wrist pain, and the FJR-1300 rider
: needed more bum recovery stops than I did. The Triumph is the best sport
: touring bike I've ever owned, and I've owned quite a few.

Hi Tom,

Couple things, don't wanna hear about bike trips, mines been sitting way too much this year. Gotta quit all these experiments that take all my time :)

Around here, specially in the summer, it's a very damp climate, so wood tends to rot if left untreated. Where Carl is on the seacoast I suspect he'll have similiar problems.

With my experiments they all seem to gain weight easily, big surprise huh? , so have to watch every ounce. I really need to start these projects earlier in the year so I'm not rushing at the end of the season to finish, easy to toss in a few extra pounds rushing to finish.

I'm seriously thinking of doing the shrink wrap test on this boat, maybe this week. Not much more to do with the basic structure except for the cover. Well I have more work with a plane to get everything faired, but that doesn't take all that much time :) Sure there's the rudder system to build and a few other minor details, but those don't really have to be there for a basic test.
