I am in the process of making the forms for the Guillemot single from the numbers of figure 4-9 in "The Strip-Built Sea Kayak" book by Nick Shade. The book explains that it's best to make the forms whole including the part above the cockpit but, in figure, 4-9 I can't find any data above the cockpit for forms 8, 9 and 10. For instance, for form 9 the cockpit height is 5.22" and the data for the deck heights stop at that point giving me a horizontal surface for the top of the form. Is there something I am not getting right?
