makes sense if Reg ever (ever) intends to shell out the $200 for the pro version.
otherwise it looks to me as if 'free!ship' has more wider capability than 'delftship(freeversion)'. In addition it can talk back and forth to 'free!ship(plus)' whereas that capability has been removed from delfship'(freeversion)' - (there is some slight reference that the 'pro' version might be able to go to older formats, but i don't know what this means).
as far as initial learning curve is concerned, all three - free!ship, free!shipplus, delftship - are basically identical programs.
